Our Hybrid® Enclosures are available in two systems, the H2 and H3. The H2 system is intended for mid-to-small enclosures and the H3 is intended for larger enclosures. Please look at the charts and information below to help you come up with a decision and select the system enclosure you would like to configure.
We chose the name Hybrid® because it is a perfect description of our enclosure system. Instead of conforming to one particular type of enclosure, we pick the best materials for each function. For example, the doors on our standard enclosure are clear acrylic so you can view your animal, the top and sides are either clear acrylic or stainless steel wire mesh so you can keep the heat in for reptiles or let air flow for birds and small animals. The back is laminate or a custom background to give the enclosure a professional, classy appearance. The end result is not one particular type of enclosure, but a “Hybrid®” of all different types of enclosures to give you the best of all worlds. In addition, every species of animal is different and every situation is unique, which is why we also allow customers to customize their enclosures and choose what types of materials they would like to use depending on their circumstances, thus creating their own unique Hybrid®.
Select the type of cage you would like to start out with. We have one basic configuration for reptiles and another for birds and small animals. However, this is just a starting point. You will have an opportunity later to modify the type of panel materials you want your cage to come with in a later step.
Reptile cages come standard with acrylic sides and laminate top. Our basic reptile configuration is designed to retain heat and humidity as well as allow for excellent viewing on 3 sides of the enclosure.
Bird cages come standard with Stainless Steel wire sides and top. The basic bird and small animal configuration allows for excellent viewing from the front, and at the same time allows for air flow through the top an sides of the cage.
