Speaker 1: Just wanted to show off the sounds of spring out here by my pond that is in need of some serious spring cleaning. Toads are out in full force. They’re at least eight out here just making all kinds of racket and doing their thing.
The pond hasn’t been a priority this spring so far because I’ve been working on those cages, but I will get to this bad boy here in the next week or two. Big water change. Clean off all the meteor pads. I hope that right there is swimming. Big beautiful butterfly toad. I think I’ll do some pool swings.
Like you can see there’s all tadpoles all on the wall inside here. All right. Just a real quick video before the storms come back in. Out here in the backyard. I don’t have the tortoises out because it’s been raining but here’s the cages so far, still got some work to do on them. I’ll try to hook up a misting system. Neighbor, a beautiful German Shepherd in the back there.
Put some heater meters over each one on the thermostat. I bought a bunch of plants but I overestimated the size, the interior size of the enclosures. I got the customcages.com sun catcher. Obviously, this is the fly catch that’s in the [unintelligible 00:04:12] next weekend. This is the [unintelligible 00:04:14] – [unintelligible 00:04:20]
Still got some stuff, get this all cleaned up but hopefully, it looks awesome once I get it all cleaned up. Just thought I’d share a little update on everything out in the backyard and show off some toads and the sound of nature here in South East Virginia. I hope I got a windsock on my mic there. I hope the volume come in really good.
If you’re interested in seeing what I have going on out here in the lizard room and for the summer the lizard patio, please hit that subscribe button, hit that bell. We’re going to have some cool stuff going on. I hope I get a bunch of eggs from all my enclosures out here. [unintelligible 00:05:00] – [unintelligible 00:05:05] Cuban force chameleons as well as [unintelligible 00:05:11]
That’s what’s all going to come out here this summer. Also, I will have Indie the leopard tortoise out here and her Paddick. I will also bring out the pair of hinge-back tortoises and Lana the little Russian tortoise will hang out over by the pond once I put a little barrier around it. I’m always very paranoid with her being out over there. I don’t want her to end up in that pond, so I’ll put a little barrier to make sure she can’t get over the lip of the pond but then she has free range of that entire gravel and grass area. Any questions, comments feel free to ask but until next time– By the way, today is Sunday, it’s mothers day. Happy mothers day to all the moms out there. All the dads that are single dads who are doing double duty, I hope you guys have a great day. Thanks, Bye.
