There is a plastic covering on BOTH sides for protection in shipping and it needs to be peeled off each side.
What are the basic, deluxe, complete and ultimate packages?
Reptile Cages H2 and H3:
- Basic is just the cage which come standard front left and right side acrylic back bottom and top laminate panel. You may substitute any panel with another material.
- Deluxe is the cage with the heating and lighting setups.
- Complete is the cage, heating and lighting, and furniture inside of the cage.
- Ultimate includes hoods, stands, image backgrounds, (and panel substitutions/different lighting fixtures/hardware if applicable).
Bird Cage H2:
- Basic is just the cage which comes standard Front acrylic bottom and back laminate left right and top ½” x ½” Stainless Steel Wire.
- Deluxe includes above with a pull out tray system A and Pull out floor seed catchers and casters.
- Complete includes above with feeder perches and other perching posts.
- Ultimate includes hoods, stands, image backgrounds, cage covers (and different lighting fixtures/hardware if applicable).

Are hoods stand and images backgrounds included?
- Hoods and stands and image backgrounds come with Ultimate packages only. All of our 40+ background images will fit any size cage.
- Stands are used to get the cage off the ground for draft reasons and for storage purposes.
How do the doors work and where are they located?
The doors are on front of all cages and made of acrylic. They can be changed to any substitution material or put in a different location. Doors slide past each other like a closet door and are all key locked.
What are hoods and stands needed for?
Hoods are used to cover the lighting fixtures for a more complete look and holding in heat to reptile cages.
Are the locks all keyed the same?
Yes they are so copies can not be made at a local store. You would have to by a whole new lock set from us for $19.95 plus shipping and handling.
What can and can not be installed in different panels?
- We will install feeders in acrylic for $10 each feeder.
- We will install feeders in 1″ x 1/8″ Stainless Steel Wire for $10 each.
- We will install wire top inserts in aluminum laminate for $25 each.
What are the white “extra panels” in the boxes?
They are just packing material and need to be disregarded.
Where do the seed catchers go?
- They clip on to wire panels ONLY.
- They come with the left and right side in the deluxe bird packages.
Can a divider fit into my cage?
A divider will fit into any size cage and you can place it any where within the cage that you wish.
How do the perches work when you order a divider?
When you have a divider and you are ordering perches know that you will have to cut them to fit depending on where you place the divider or hang the one end from the top by chain.
Is lighting recommended for birds? If so, why and what?
Yes it is recommended. It helps prevent feather plucking and gives birds the vitamins they would normally get from the sun.
The dome fixture and the spiral bulb is what we recommend but you could also use the 24″ full spectrum strip fixture that just doesn’t shine down as far.
What are the gauges of the stainless steel wire?
Stainless Steel Diameters are:
- 1″ x 1″ 11ga
- ½” x ½” 13ga
These gauges are specific to stainless, plain steel gauges are different. Please be aware of the difference in measuring standards.
Plain Steel Diameters are:
- 1″ x 1″ .120″
- ½” x ½” .093
- ¾” x ¾” .093
What size is the basking ledge?
26 ½”H x 15 ½”L x 13″D.
What are the sizes for the Replica furniture?
- Y Log is 33″ tall (36 1/2″ with base).
- Straight Log standard is 43 3/4″ long, with approximately a 3″ diameter.
- Jumbo is 52 3/4″ long with approximately a 4″ diameter.
- Rock Base is 24″L x 18″D x 4″H.
What is the difference between the System A and System B Pull Out Trays?
- System A is a formed plastic tray.
- System B is an aluminum laminate panel framed in aluminum and has round plastic corners.
What is a debris and aggregate stopper?
It is a 4” L-shaped clear piece of hard plastic that can be put in any cage with a fixed floor so you can build up the substrate on the floor and it will not fall into the door tracks. Has a 1” adhesive strip to attach it to the cage.
What distance on each side do you need to have with a Friendly Feeder system to make it functional?
- The Regular size feeders stick out 5″ and you will need an additional 5″ to pull the dish out.
- The Mini feeder sticks out 4″ and needs an additional 4″ to pull the dish out.
What are pull out tray liners?
They are a white wax paper cut to fit your exact tray size so all you need to do is put a stack in your tray and take the top one out as necessary.
What do you clean the acrylic with?
You can use soap and water or glass cleaner with a soft cotton cloth.
